This is a beautiful place to walk. The path is lined with mulch, and so it makes for a really comfy walk. Parking tends to feel pretty quickly so you might have to park along the sides of the road which is what many people have done. There is a gated entrance to which right in front. Thereβs a little hot with a volunteer that can assist you with any questions that you may have. They also have little maps to identify the different parts of the garden. As soon as you enter, you can hear all of the different birds that are in the area along with seeing butterflies and bees. The majority of places are shaded by trees, but there are places where the sun comes through. Highly recommended, for relaxation picture, taking birdwatching itβs truly a beautiful sanctuary. I went in the summertime.

Lovely little historic wildflower garden! Not much was blooming when we went (just missed Lady Slippers by a day or two) but it was still a beautifully kept secluded area! It's on a hill and the trails are mostly wood chips so be prepared with proper shoes! The kid's Crocs were not it π There are plenty of benches and water fountains for bird watching, sketching, or simply taking in the view! π All in all we can't wait to go back and see more wildflowers! Maybe next time we'll follow a guided tour! π

I loved that the welcome volunteer highlighted that the Lady Slippers were in bloom and where to look for them. A map was provided but some additional signage on the trail would be helpful. The area was busy but the trails did not feel busy. Not wheelchair accessible but a fairly easy to moderate hike.

If i could give this ten stars, I would. Loved, loved, loved. What a tranquil place to get into nature and enjoy the sights and sounds. I loved that the paths were mulched. The Ladyslipper lane was just gorgeous and I was thrilled to see our state flower in bloom. The person working the info booth before entry was also so friendly and helpful and very enjoyable to chat with. I also appreciated that there were many benches and water fountains and so much shade which made walking on a humid summer day manageable. I really loved it and am so glad to have found this gem of a park. Will definitely be back.

Small but mighty. Lots of wildflowers blooming the day I was here in late May. Ran down my phone battery taking photos. Nice easy to walk trails. It was pretty busy but I came late in the day so people were leaving and I was able to park right at the entrance. I plan to visit whenever I'm in the area.
